A computer graphic artist, also known as a graphic designer, creates and implements visual designs using photography, animation and illustration for print and Web. In order to work as a graphic artist, it is ideal to have a bachelor's degree. Your duties may include developing company logos or websites, creating and adjusting marketing layouts, or designs according to your clients' needs. Most of your work will be done using computer graphics software programs (typically the Adobe Creative Suite, figma). ​

Students that complete the year long course with a B or better, and complete all the required portfolio projects are eligible for 3 units of UC/CSU transferable credit.

​Join us for any of our events to take your future in art and design above and beyond.
ROP stands for Regional Occupational Program. There are 74 Regional Occupational Centers and Programs in the state of California that provide career technical education. ROP courses are designed for high school students and adults to provide quality career technical education and hands-on experience.
